The
appeal to raise £5,000 towards the subsistence of the Scouts during their
visit to Kenya later this year is going well – but still has a little
distance to go. £1,300 is still to be found. Have you given thought to the
original idea of contributing the equivalent of five hours' work? All of us
can be pleased with the result so far.
On Sunday 17 February the Scouts gave an excellent presentation at the
Eucharist service which raised an astonishing £600. Generous donations have
continued to come in. Just how grateful the Scouts are. We are forging a
close connection.
Now let us complete the task. Contributions to PCC of St Mary Merton,
please, stated to be for the Scouts in Kenya, by 1 May.
