Among the many celebrations for the Bicentenary of The Battle of Trafalgar,
will be several events taking place at St Mary's, which was Lord Nelson's
parish church. This
lecture, organised by the Wimbledon Society and Merton Historical Society
will be held on
September 12 at 8pm in church. It will be given by Dr Colin White based
around his work on the Nelson Letters Project. Admission will be by ticket
only, and will cost £5.00, which includes a discount on his recently
published book.
