I
have been asked by a number of people for a copy of the Parish Directory.
This was compiled in 1999 and contained the names, addresses and phone
numbers of parishioners and any duties that they undertook around the
church. The contents are now woefully out of date, so there is no point in
reprinting that edition.
Therefore, I will attempt to produce a new directory, but I will leave out
the job descriptions eg sidesmen, flower arrangers, cleaners etc, etc as it
is difficult to keep that sort of information correct and up to the minute.
I
propose to use the names and addresses in the old version and also those of
new arrivals that are on the current electoral roll. Please, please tell me
if you know of people who were in the old directory and have moved away.
If
you do not want your name and/or address/phone number included let me
know.
Also
, give me your details if you wish to be included and are not on the
electoral roll.
Those of you who bought the 1999 directory have found, I’m sure— as I
have—that it has been invaluable in contacting fellow parishioners. I hope
that the new one—when it appears—will be equally popular.
Of
course, I rely on information from you to guarantee its accuracy. Just put
a note for me in the ‘Wardens’ pigeon hole, or through my front door, ‘Stoneleigh’,
Church Path, by August 31st at the latest please.
