On Sunday 15th
May the five churches that belong to the Merton Park Churches Together group
arranged an open air ecumenical service at the bandstand in John Innes park.
Groups of people had walked from their churches to meet together in a
service of Praise and Worship which included songs, prayers, readings and an
address.
About eighty people joined together in this act of witness, the sun shone
and everyone felt it was a good way of celebrating Pentecost together.
We hope to do this again next year, we can’t guarantee the weather but do
