Church Hall each week?

Have you ever wondered if you were missing out an a chance to do something to keep fit.. in mind or body.

Have you ever thought of starting a group to meet together to share in a common interest?

 If you have, Read on!

There are about 40 regular weekly bookings in the Hall. This includes cubs, brownies, beavers and scouts, and a lot of ballet and dance lessons for children and youth.

But did you know there is a weekly adult Keep Fit Session and a weekly adult ballet/jazz class ..where some members are senior citizens? Two other Senior Citizens hire the Hall on the weekly basis so that they can practice their new ball room dancing routines in peace…with the whole floor available to just themselves.

In March the Line dancing sessions will recommence and every week there are 3 sessions of music making for young children and toddlers.

There' s a weekly evening Guitar Club, a children's Art Club, Parish Players and 3 evenings of Badminton.

Monthly meetings are held by the Mothers Union, the Townswomen's Guild and the Whist Drive…and a playgroup for adopted children and toddlers.

In addition a children's holiday camp was run during each holiday last year and will have been held again in February.

Along with all the church events (plus the Sunday Club and Crèche, the Hall was also hired for over 100 private parties and meetings. And this year we have two weddings booked with Marquees in the Glebe.

So, you can see that the Hall is very busy…perhaps there is something there that would interest you. Perhaps you would like to start up a group, or rent the hall for a party or meeting.

If so. do contact Krysia Williams, the Hall Booking Secretary, on 8542 8687 or email krysia.williams@btopenworld.com
